FAR08 - BRS Feat Rachel Roberts "Stop Playing Around"

A1. Original Mix

A2. Green Goddess Mix
B1. Rhythm Plate Remix
B2. Bitter Suite Vocal Dub

there's still a few advance promo copies of this up for grabs in the shop

full release is likely to be the end of august now, here's what everyone's been saying about it:

Shit, what can I say, BRS is a more than worthy addition to the catalogue. I'm on the Rhythm Plate and Green Goddess (pure fat old school MAW!!) mixes , but they're all top drawer! Thanks for keeping the quality control high, it really shows
- Chris Duckenfield, Swag, Sheffield

I really dig the Rhythm Plate mix of the BRS,its the tops!
-Brett Johnson, Aesoteric Records, Dallas

New Record, New Illness!!! Once again F&R has put out a dope record. Got the promo for 08 last week and will put it to the test this weekend.
- Nick Maurer, Greenskeepers Music, USA/Germany

rhythm plate mix is my favourite, disonent chords, great vocals & jackin beats
- Peter Christianson, Lawnchair Generals, Seattle

Really dig the Rythm Plate mix alot 9/10 regularly playing this..
- Justin Harris - MFF/Freaks, London

Like all the tracks but a2 is doing it for us, keep up the good work!
- The Littlemen, Mobile Trax, Smokescreen, Nottingham

Again a huge release for this top quality label. I cant stop playing the Rhythm Plate remix. Typically the sound i'm into: deep, classy and effective on the dancefloor - 8/10.
- Massimo Dacosta (Exun, Foreplay, Robsoul, Separé, Explicit Soul, Belgium)

rhythm plate mix is the one for me, beautifully deep and quirky while maintaining a serious bump for the floor. right up my alley!
- Mazi, Audio Soul Project, Chicago

The BRS record is sick! my feedback-10/10!!
-Jason Hodges (Ooomph/TrackYankers/Allworld)

Some really good mixes here! I think the "Green Goddess" mix is my fave.
- Rob Mello, Classic, London

Still got the Original Friends & Families promo in my box, will stick with the Green Goddess Mix 8/10
- Inland Knights, Drop Music, Nottingham

the bitter suite dub is actually my fav cut on the record, but the rhythm plate remix is really doing it for me in clubs, nice chunky bassline. love it, full support, playing it tonight @ a loft party! 8/10
- Olivier Desmet, Amenti Music, San Francisco

definitely feeling the Rhythm Plate remix- will probably drop it at Stealth on Saturday, I imagine it'll be reviewed for the next issue of Keep On.
- Peej, DIY, Keep On Magazine, Nottingham

I will be playing the Rhythm Plate most, but my feelings are(for longevity's sake),the best mix on here is the Bitter Suite vocal dub.A timeless piece & the best sounding sonically(even on the inside cut).Actually there's not much in it to be honest for all four cuts.A flyshit really. These two I favor though. 8/10
- DJ Freestyle No Tan Lines, Sunny Day, Brisbane

BRS come up with the goods once more on this quality label, charted number 5, 8/10
- Murray Richardson, 2020 Recordings, Barcelona

love the new BRS promo
- Wally Callerio, Dufflebag Records, San Diego

Love the original but the rhythm plate mix has a lovely old school simplicity to it, deep & quality 9/10
- Muggy, Blusoul Music, Dublin
